Thank you so much for your faithfulness and dedication as a church to help the Ukrainian refugees.
Our refugee centre is full. People continue to come from East part of Ukraine. They are afraid that in the near future the war will escalate. We provide for them shelter, food, clothes, medical and hygiene supplies. Also we have a weekly chapel for them and concealing session (for those who need help).They are very thankful for the care that we offer to them in the centre.
We close the Kindergarten on April 30. Because the Ukrainian missionary couple that was in charge to running the project will move back to Ukraine because of their kids.
Bellow it is a short video about these project that we made it 2 weeks ago. You can use it in church (or your website). Part of the donations that you sent us in the past we used for this project also. We had 4 Ukrainian refugees ladies that we hired to teach the kids.
In the last 6 weeks we didn’t send supplies to Ukraine because we had some problem to crossing the border with goods. They change the law in Ukraine. Some people took advantage of the free crossing of the border into Ukraine with goods and brought things that they sold them in Ukraine. They smuggled goods. We didn’t know that the authorities change the law and when we sent 3 vans with goods last time, we had problems crossing the border. They confiscated some of our goods and we have a process in the court in Odessa. Hope the next weeks we close that.
We are trying now to change the way how we help into Ukraine.
