Ukraine – March Update

Here's a taste of some of the encouragements coming from our partners at Crù Romania.

Lavinia, one of the Crù staff, recently shared this update

Baba Nadia

The chapel was over and it was bustling at the end…all the Ukrainians wanted to talk to us.

Andrey approached Florin and Cristina (my colleagues) and insisted that Baba Nadia (Grandma Nadia) wanted to talk to them.

“Since I have been in your center, when I pray or read the Bible, I feel like someone puts his hand on my shoulder and sits next to me, as if it were the Holy Spirit”…

Then, Florin and Cristina began to advise her and they led her in the surrender prayer. Rejoice with us because Baba Nadia received Jesus as Lord and Savior!

The work with the refugees continues both through the chapel on Tuesday evenings and through their accommodation and taking care of other practical needs such as: food, legal consultancy, counselling, help in buying tickets to go further and much more!

Here are some more pictures of the weekly chapel for Ukrainian refugees at the Crù offices, as well as how the accommodation next to their offices now look

The Crù staff have been putting the donations we’ve been able to send over to good use.  In the following videos you can see a generator and water pump that have been donated to help families return to their village.
