It’s one of the precious opportunities we have during the year to gather as one church across our three congregations—sharing a meal, deepening our relationships, and celebrating the gospel that unites us as we look to the year ahead with eternity in view.
This is a donation only event. If we’re planning to come or not, please consider donating using the donation links below.
Whether you’ve been here for years or only just arrived, this is definitely for you.
We’d love to see you there.
The Vision Dinners are for anyone and everyone! Whether you’re new to Saint James, or you’ve been around for years, we’d love you to come.
Vision Dinners are a key moment for us as we look to the year ahead with eternity in view. There is no greater privilege than belonging to Christ and his people, and these evenings give us the opportunity to celebrate that together. From that shared joy and identity, we’ll consider how each of us can play our part in seeing God’s kingdom grow.
If you’re new to Saint James, this is a great way to meet people and find out what we’re all about as a church — we’d love to welcome you!
We would hate for barriers such as money to stop people from coming, therefore, we are running this as a donation only event. Even if we’re not planning to come, if you would like to contribute, please use the donation link above to contribute towards the costs.
The two events will be exactly the same, so you only need to come to one. We’re offering lunch or dinner to fit everyone in and to make it easier for everyone to come.
We’re not planning to provide formal childcare, but we hope that our older & younger youth will join the serving team on the Saturday night, which they always enjoy. For little ones, this is one of those occasions when it’s definitely worth getting a babysitter!
We’re hoping that having two dates will enable everyone to make it. Perhaps you could offer to babysit for a friend; or organise a childcare swap? It’s worth the effort – we promise!
No. It’s completely up to you what you wear and it really doesn’t matter. It’s a relaxed evening with church family!
Yes, please! We need volunteers at each event to ensure things run smoothly. Everyone on the team will be able to hear the vision presentation and there’s always a great buzz behind the scenes, so you won’t miss out on fellowship. We’ll get some pizzas delivered and make time to share dinner together.
