Our Vision Dinners are donation-based, and while there is no set fee, we kindly encourage everyone to make a contribution as you are able and can afford. This allows us to cover costs, whilst making it accessible for everyone to come as we grow together in Christ.

Who is this for?
The Vision Dinners are for anyone and everyone! Whether you’re new to Saint James, or you’ve been around for years, we’d love you to come.
Why should I come?
We’ll be getting together as a church family to re-commit to our vision and we’ll hear from Matt about our focus for the year ahead – all whilst enjoying precious time together. Expect good food and good company!
If you’re new to Saint James this is a great way to meet people and find out what we’re all about as a church. We’d love to welcome you!
What's the cost?
We’re trialling this as a donation only event to make sure that this is accessible for everyone. Keep an eye on this page for details of how to donate.
Why are there two dates?
The two events will be exactly the same, so you only need to come to one. We’re offering lunch or dinner to fit everyone in and to make it easier for everyone to come.
What about childcare?
We’re not planning to provide formal childcare, but we hope that our older & younger youth will join the serving team on the Saturday night, which they always enjoy. For little ones, this is one of those occasions when it’s definitely worth getting a babysitter!
We’re hoping that having two dates will enable everyone to make it. Perhaps you could offer to babysit for a friend; or organise a childcare swap? It’s worth the effort – we promise!
Is there a dress code?
No. It’s completely up to you what you wear and it really doesn’t matter. It’s a relaxed evening with church family!
Do you need help?
Yes, please! We need volunteers at each event to ensure things run smoothly. Everyone on the team will be able to hear the vision presentation and there’s always a great buzz behind the scenes, so you won’t miss out on fellowship. We’ll get some pizzas delivered and make time to share dinner together.
