with Paul Brennan, The Tron Church
Thursday 5th June
Our vision is to see every life transformed. Through Jesus. For God’s glory. Which is why we often talk about reaching the 45,000 people on our doorstep who don’t yet know Jesus. But how will we actually do that? What will we need to start doing? What might we need to stop doing? How can we make best use of the resources God has given us? And how can we mobilise the whole church family so that we’re partnering together in the Great Commission?
Paul Brennan has been a minister at The Tron Church, Glasgow, since 2016, where he has overseen Mission for the past 5 years. Alongside lecturing on the Cornhill (Scotland) Training course, he is writing a book on how churches can best engage in Mission by building clear pathways, and training & equipping the church family in evangelism. Paul also leads the UK Evangelism Ministers group, formed after The Evangelism Conference in 2024, hosted by Rico Tice.
For one evening, Paul will share some of the lessons he has learnt over the last 5 years to help us think about how we can be more effective in our mission at Saint James. He has a wealth of experience, and has a been a huge blessing to Craig and Dan as we’ve sought to develop our Mission and Membership work at Saint James. We’ll hear from Paul about the journey he’s been on and what he wished he’d known 5 years ago – before finishing with an extended Q&A.
The evening is open to all at Saint James, and will be of particular interest to those who would love some help with mission and evangelism: whether through kids work, hosting, Explore, or praying for loved ones – basically, anyone!
