SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT - 15 December 2008

At 11am today, Monday 15 December, 10 Downing Street announced that the Queen has approved the nomination of Paul Williams to be the new Bishop of Kensington, in the Diocese of London. Paul is the Rector of St James Gerrards Cross with Fulmer, in the Diocese of Oxford.

The Bishop of Kensington is an Area Bishop with specific oversight for an area of the Diocese of London extending from Kensington and Chelsea, through Chiswick, Twickenham, Hampton and Hounslow, as far west as Stanwell and Staines.
