Responding to Pastoral Needs in a Financial Downturn
We believe that, as a Church family, we need effective pastoral structures to support families, couples and individuals who may find themselves living with redundancy, or job stress or experiencing difficulties as a result of the financial downturn.
Network at St James will be partnering with other local organisations, such as Springboard and other local churches to ensure the Christian community offers as much help and support as possible to those who are in need.
Network at St James will seek to help with:
Listening: Someone to talk to in the event of redundancy, job insecurity or other areas where the economic climate is causing difficulty.
Prayer: Confidential prayer support during a time of adjustment and looking for new opportunities.
Support & fellowship for spouses who need to support their husband or wife through job loss.
Support for children and young people who are anxious and concerned about the impact of economic difficulties in their families.
Networking opportunities with regular meetings for those who would benefit from talking and praying with others.
If you would like to know more about how to either help or benefit from Network at St James please email confidentially to network@saintjames.org.uk and these emails will be read and responded to by clergy at the two St James.
