Haiti Earthquake Relief |
|
Haiti Earthquake Relief
As a church family we continue to pray for all those who are suffering; those who have lost loved ones and do not know where they are, and for agencies and governments seeking to bring disaster relief.
It is not too late to contribute to the relief effort: Tearfund is an evangelical Christian Aid Agency and we have a long standing partnership with them as a church. They are actively engaged in the disaster relief initiative in Haiti. You can give directly by going to the Teafund website.
If you would rather make a donation through St James, we will send those on to Tearfund. Please use the blue envelopes provided at all services and at our welcome desk and mark the envelope "HAITI". Cheques should be made payable to "St James PCC".
For up-to-the-minute news on Tearfund's activity look at the Tearfund Twitter page .
